Washington Quarters 1932-1964
I like washington quarters because it is an affordable area to collect. I am considering adding more to my collection. Post some pictures to help motivate me.

That's a beautiful WQ! This has long been one of my two favorite series with the other being Reeded Edge half dollars (I know, an odd combination). There is a thread on the Registry forum that is many pages long where folks are sharing images of WQs, as well. You should check it out.

One of my favorite series.
I'm working on an MS slabbed set and a circulated album set.

Hi Peace_Dollar88 - I would strongly suggest avoiding this genre of numismatic collecting. While Washington Quarters can be pleasing to the proverbial eye, they can also be extremely tarnished. Due to the high adaptability of the alloy hue, these coins can be faked quite often, thus resulting in numismatic fraud.

Something special about that satin-like luster on this series... This one I bought raw simply because it's a knockout.

Very true, the 30's dates can be somewhat spendy but the rest of the series is quite affordable.

Well if you're on a budget then this a great series to collect. Most of them are readily available and reasonably price if you collect under an MS-67. i like the 66+ grades as I think they have the best value. Here are a few of my favorite 66+'s

I collect Washington toners with minimal regard to date, mintmark, or even grade. This one is my favorite reverse, by far. Edit: It's a 1958 PCGS 66

I have not collected the Washington quarters at all... and I have no idea why not... I have some limited collections of most other moderns...Mercs, Franklins, Kennedy's, Cents.....But no quarters or Jeffersons...After seeing this thread, I may have to get a few nice Washingtons...(no tarnish

The Washington Quarter Series also has Some of the Best Varieties that can still be found today raw or in slabs unattributed. Buy the cherry pickers guide and start learning varieties while you start on this set. In makes it a lot more fun...Here are two of my Favorites.

I'll add my name to this impressive duo, looking looking looking and still not finding.
Very frustrating for a variety nut may I add.But I like the sleepers in this series. Some tough to find nice and lustrous.
