I am thankful for all my coins.... some have special 'family' connections, some are from friends here on the forum...It really is hard to choose any particular coin, since they are all special in some way. However, I have a 1942 P war nickel that I found when cleaning out my Mother's house after she passed....I like to think she saved that one since it was my birth year. Cheers, RickO

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I can’t pick one coin to be thankful for, so most importantly....I am thankful that I am in a position to provide a good life for my family and still have the means to buy coins and gold for my collection. Also thankful to have my oldest daughter and her husband here for Thanksgiving with us. I hope everyone has a safe and happy thanksgiving today!
This is my only major purchase this year. Probably the hardest Michigan store card to obtain. It is part of my Michigan Towns & Cities collection that will be in my exhibit at the MSNS convention this weekend.

Thankful to own this coin! Thankful I purchased it in 1991 for a small premium over spot price.. And with the low mintage of the, 2019, thankful it is still the KEY!
Also, I am thankful I was one of the lucky ones to snag a 2019 Eagle Reverse Proof... Currently en-route to our host

I went to that show many years ago when shows still excited me. Drove from Chicago. I Bought a Central America $20 with all,the original packaging. Graded MS63 cost under $5k don't remember exact. I thought it was so nice I sent it to PCGS for regrade. They called me on the phone and told me they would grade it MS64 but they no longer had the gold foil inserts so they wanted to know should they leave it or grade it 64 with a blue label and would say USS Central America on the label. What a choice how could I pass on an upgrade so I said do it MS64. I have all the original packaging and a blue holder. I was pissed I did it. I felt like I was looking at a problem coin. Dan Avena bought it from me ( sold him a lot of nice gold back then) is he still around? Regretted reholdering that coin. If you see an odd ball 1857-S $20 USS Central America in a blue holder floating around out there look close you still might see some of my tear stains on it.

My Dad gave this cent when I was very young, long time ago.

Glad I kept it...

Franklin was fond of Turkey's, Lol. This coin has traces of blues, violets and greens you can see in hand. Love it!

My first of 2 seated dollars. It was my oldest US dollar until I picked up a 1800 recently.
Here's a recent addition I'm thankful for. Much nicer in hand than this excellent, very revealing seller's photo.

As I have started the process to sell off my collection slowly, this will remain as the last one to go.

Happy Thanksgiving all!
New pickup I’m really pleased with. Hope everyone has a relaxing holiday

Why can't there be a "love" button?
(No, I am not going to be puerile and say...."That's what she said.")
That is just about the prettiest Seated dollar I've seen!
