Is there anyone that didn't try to get the 2019 Reverse Proof coin from the mint?

I'll be the first to answer, No I didn't try.

No, I did not try. I could have as I work evenings and was at home with 3 different computers at my disposal.

This is not my cup of tea, but stuff like this really pisses me off as there are true collectors out there trying to put these sets together and the flippers have an army of people trying to buy them so they can flip them for a huge profit. I did these pieces along with the gold during the first few years of issue from 1986-1988.

By the mid 1970's I had learned that the vast majority of the special coins and other items made at the mint were not what I wanted to collect. So I could not have cared less.

Many collectors are turned off by this type of item and just ignore them. I could care less about them.

Totally oblivious to the whole offer. Didn’t even realize what was involved until the plethora of posts on the forum and the BST about these.

Thought about it, then decided against it. Looks like I missed out on all that "excitement" and "fun" that was generated and talked about on these boards. BTW who got "my" coin after I decided not to engage in this quest? :)

Had someone remind me the morning of, and tried half-heartedly, but otherwise would have missed it. Not on my radar, normally.

I was at work, however, I tried on the phone.... I knew it was likely an exercise in futility, but I tried....Nothing ventured, nothing gained... I ventured, and did not gain. :D Cheers, RickO
