Maybe there going to announce every Silver Eagle Special Release will now come from the Mint Graded by PCGS with all stickers applied to the insert instead of the slab, and for the.right price you will be able to buy coins by the grade straight from the Mint!

On a more serious note, my guess is that the’ll announce that their website will provide some type of valuation data for coins with CAC’s.

They have a retail price guide now available. The data is also in the Greysheet If they put that data on their website for free, it undermines their publication.

I avoid speculation on such things.... Though I will watch with interest. CAC has done a great job of breaking into the grading market and has achieved prominence with collectors and dealers - pricing reflects their acceptance. Cheers, RickO

A purely speculative question - If indeed CAC starts a CAC Registry, would it be a “competitive” one, like PCGS, but only coins with CAC’s qualify, or just a pure Registry, so it just links the Cert Number with your name, in case of theft?

They will start slabbing coins with paper inserts that are either gold, green, or brown (crappy) so it's one-stop shopping.
There will be 3 registries, one for each color.
You will be able to submit your coins for a "+" or a " -" sticker for an extra fee; brown (-) would be a truly nasty coin
Then the principals will take the company public and live happily forever at the seashore......The End

Some sort of co sponsorship of a registry. And that may not a bad idea should it be about coins. And to make it about coins, why not open the process to other TPG companies to include the older White ANACs holders, Hallmark and the very early PCI coins graded in the 1990s. Part of my rationale as to ANACs is that they slabbed varieties well before it became fashionable... to loose this connection and provenance seems wrong in that it is part of how numismatics unfolded.
TPG within the world coin market has not matured or been accepted to the point that CAC should even consider going there.
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
I'm sure this has been discussed before, the reason why JA decided not to include other TPG companies is because the approval rates were much lower than for PCGS and NGC graded coins.
For some series it's quite low already. Obviously low approval rates are discouraging for submitters, perhaps to a lesser extent this applies for professional graders like JA.
Three guesses in order...
Entire auction of CAC coins.
Adding :"Modern" coins, bullion, or World coins.
Moving company out of NJ to CA or FL
