So, I'm at dinner with my wife and eight other travelers in a rather elegant but somewhat aged hotel on lake Maggiore in Stresa,Italy when she asks if I have any Euros to purchase some wine. All I had was my pocket 86 Morgan which I jokingly proffered. The person on my left exclaims that's a Morgan Etc. Etc. It was the member here @Prethen travelling with his lovely wife on the same Italian tour. Needless to say we spent that evening and a lot more time discussing coins and all. Next day we were in Lugano Switzerland where I attempted to buy some bullion and gold coins to no avail as the premiums were way to high to warrant even a souvenir. @Prethen found another coin dealer but did not buy as well. We then merrily travelled to Venice, Assisi, Sorrento, Capri and Pompeii talking coins and bullion before returning to Rome for our {same} flight back to Philadelphia.

Small world isn't it?
