Its pretty close, the feathers on the eagle's left leg aren't quite all there (perhaps its just the lighting angle), but it is still uncommon to see all the lines in her gown at the midriff.
This is about as close as I have.
That's a very nice coin. I have a 1936-D that definitely fits the definition of fully struck.
It seems like 1933, '34 and '36 (all mints) were great years for Walker strikes. It would be almost cool to see a very mushy 1934 or 1936 Philly Walker.
Unbelievably sharp strike on the 34-S. It's nice to see one where her left hand doesn't look like an oven mitt. Congrats on a nice piece. Love the color on that 45 as well.
Then there's this one that was discussed a few months ago. If it's real I would say it's the most complete strike I've ever seen on a Walker, better than any proof.
Wow. That 1933 is probably the most impressive strike I've seen!
Excuse my dumb question, but how do strikes like these happen and then the majority end up being week? Were these like first test strikes before the machine started pressing the rest at full speed?
Nice topic, made me look thru mine.
Some nice looking halves out there, thanks for posting!
This 41 is as well struck I have.

it's an amazing strike for a San Francisco coin.

That is a real beautiful WLH....incredible strike...and it has been very well preserved. Cheers, RickO

RIP Mom- 1932-2012
Nice strike on your 34-S
Here is mine.
And mine!! Sharpest thumb I’ve seen on one of these!! Knuckles and index finger are pretty sharp, too.

Early date, so the skirt lines look different....but the hand...the HAND!
Very nice, especially for a San Francisco. I normally try and keep one of each type...Walkers are no exception.

I don't know if it was ever determined to be real or not. If it is real it has to be the most special Walker in existence.
Personally I have my doubts about the coin.
The 1933-S normally comes nice, just not this nice.
I've posed this MS-66 36-D before, but I think it's the most hammered Walker I have:

This is one of the best struck late year 'S' mints I've seen

My 34-S:
Gonna get me a $50 Octagonal someday. Some. Day.
Hard working die on this one. Die has been polished such that Liberty has 'floating fingers' in her outstretched hand.
Absolutely! And a 1934-S
Proofs are said to be fully struck but have weakness on the left hand. Is this strike weakness or die problem ?
That's a real nice strike.
