"1916 D Mercury Dime, I found today within my change given back to me from the local grocery store. The Clerk even said huh, this looks odd for a dime? Its a rare one! Yes that happened to me last week too.
I got two strange looking cents with wheat stalks on them.
And low and behold, one was a 1943 copper and the other was a 1909-s VDB.

Superfluous and in this case unbelievable details are automatically a red flag.

It is his way of trying to plead ignorance about what it really is (a fake).

This type of con artist is the lowest of the low.

Do you guarantee this as a genuine 1916-D Dime? Your return policy and feedback make me leery to bid.

Like to have better pictures as your feedback is poor and shows several polished and sketchy coins.

Sorry the person who listed this coin was a second user and now has zero access to this account. The coin was a replica that belonged to my son. Sorry for any confusion or deceit from that post as it was not authorized by me.

I received the same message, after contacting him. And he disputed my assessment that various uncertified U.S. gold coins showing in his completed transactions, were counterfeit.

Yeah he didn't take that coin down completely, he took it down to only put it back up and sell it for $336 dollars 3 days later!

He must of forgot to put in the auction that it was not returnable in the first advertisement
