I had a 63 that looked that good in an OGH. I kick myself every day for selling it. Due to the mark or line, in the left facing obverse; I'll say 63. It's much too nice to go below that.

What's the point of a guess the grade thread if you have different pictures, but you exclude one which shows a significant problem?
That was the point of this thread, to show how misleading pictures can be, plus an interesting reason which I agree with why they came up with the grade.
Let this be a lessen for those that are buying coins online from pictures. Make sure there is a return policy, especially on raw coins. Had this been raw and those pics were used for selling (like on ebay), it would have fooled an awful lot of people.

Shouldn’t this be holdered as Unc details cleaned? Directional hairlines from an old wipe or what do you think?
I honestly don't believe it to be cleaned, I believe it was mishandled, perhaps was under a book and slid or something to that effect. The reverse has no issues, 64 all day...

I'm on the fence. You are 100% correct. However, @AUandAG made a point expressed by the the OP also. Images can be manipulated - BUYER beware. Trick questions are a great way of teaching. I use them all the time in class...like sticking a genuine coin in as a counterfeit and and asking students to tell why it is a fake. Putting fakes into a grading class is fun too. C/F's can be graded even if you think the piece is genuine.

I agree with the grade upon seeing the 'patch of horror'. I find it all in all an attractive piece that I would happily buy as a 61.

I’ll do a reveal sometime tomorrow.
FWIW I totally agree with their grade.

My first thought was, why on earth is this a 61!? Then twirling the slab around I saw it... It makes sense to me.

I have seen a lot less appealing morgans that have graded higher. I can see that coin grading 62-63 on a good day.

@batumi indeed for a 61 it has eye appeal.
