Just spotted this girl about 20 minutes ago, 9:35 am in the back yard. There was a blue jay too but it was way too jittery to get a decent photo.

No, but occasionally I have American Bald Eagles flying over while Ravens, and Red Tail Hawks dine on rabbits, squirrels and mice in my back yard. [usually while the coyotes and bobcats are sleeping]

It is nothing for the American Bald Eagles at the Quabbin Reservoir, here in Massachusetts, to fly up to Canada for the weekend.

I was feeding a Hawk (leaving mice on a platform atop a pole) for awhile. I'm convinced if I lived in the country I could have gotten it to feed out of my hand after a few years. I would love to hold that eagle!
I really like most large animals. Anyone remember the young lions at the FUN show? I had a huge owl perch on my glove for 10 min. at a Renaissance Fair. I wish my neck could do that.
I got hooked on the "Live Cams" watching Bald Eagles go from an egg to leaving the nest.

While on my ride I was sneaking up on this deer as it was positioned just right as it looked like it was riding this abandoned jetski, the joke was on me...
