Sorry but I give no credit to the "Bean" for your photo skills. Taking pictures of a any proof coin is not easy. It takes several shots. Anyone who takes pictures of proofs knows that was not your First or Only try at this coin. Thats why I can appreciate your picture Vs Phils. He has no time to be playing around to get it to look just right.

Somehow it stopped some competing light from hitting the coin so it brought out the contrast.
This Barber Half gave me fits.
and still didn't bring out any brilliance.

Tip: take it outside in the late afternoon on an overcast day....with only that natural light you’ll be amazed at how easy it is to capture the full cameo effect.
Nice pics. For cameos a dark mirror field looks better. At least I think so.

The one I took is really closer to what it looks like in hand. It's just a blast of flash.
