I concur.
Fine example!
I see what you did there.
I’ll take a dozen graded coin like that any day!
Love it. US gold is that last great buy in numismatics. You get yourself gold, you get yourself history and you get yourself a teeny tiny numismatic premium.
I would sell my whole worthless plastic coin collection and buy every coin like this I could. If a coin with these low pop numbers were in the WLH series, it would be a 50K coin.
Great "old gold" look on that one. Edit, PCGS r7.7 in all grades. Great deal.
A good looking coin with a low mintage can't be too bad a deal at that price!
Nice coin, great buy!
I would happily trade off my collection of modern junk if I could get some nice gold like this.
Good job on catching this before it hit the melting pot.

I love it @Coinstartled .... the best $30 over melt I've seen in a long while
Wow! Great acquisition, great price, and only 125 survivors.
Nice. I'm surprised how much gold is selling around melt.
Nice catch... old gold that has seen a lot of commerce....and a scarce one at that....Cheers, RickO

Me too.
Interesting piece, for sure. I have a soft spot for old, worn out U.S. Gold. A total no-brainer IMO. Nice pick up!

Sweet coin and great price!

Neat coin great price.
I like it to. nice pick up in that case
Very nice; good buy.
Want to make $100? Lol
Also a big fan of liberty seated coins.
Outstanding old gold! Nice pick up!
Nobody got my “dozen graded coin” joke......
Nice old gold that has bought a few things along the way.
I certainly did, but didn't wish to offer any further encouragement. You used that line on a bust quarter a couple of years ago and we tried not to notice that time either.
We weren't dozin' , just duodecimalizing while waitin' to "play the dozens"
It (almost unimaginably) gets worse from there.
Semi-incidentally - nice purchase . . . . many seen finer, but none as fine
