Sorry you got Stupid Post. They really need to re-organize the shipping options. No more Stupid Post. Lowest option 1st class. Then Priority Mail. Then 2 day FedX or UPS. Loyalty free shipping would be 1st class.

I like.
Only issue is FCP weight limit is 15.99oz (commercial rate); but heck since it would be free then make, say, five separate purchases instead of one big purchase with five items.
Of course an issue might be those hot items and might not be able to get five separate purchases in before UNA/SO.
Anyone notice the serial number on the paper insert within the folder? Bottom right corner. It is on the Mint's pics, but only realized it after really looking and noticing the raised imprint (embossing) of the visor of the helmet. Similar to having documents certified.
BEP spent a few $ or did it themselves to make these then just a simple print run.

Oh, no, that's not my number, the pic is from the Mint's webpage. MIne is under 1000 but nothing special.

The number should match the FRN. From the OP:
To make sure it's a matched set, the Buzz Aldrin print will have a serial number the same as the last four digits of the $50 FRN. That's interesting.
The print should be an intaglio print. At least that's the norm for BEP products.
BEP spent a few $ or did it themselves to make these then just a simple print run.
@Hemispherical said:
The entire presentation does not have the look/feel of an intaglio print, but the exception is the the spacesuit.
The color BEP prints are made using a combination of intaglio and offset.
A collectors’ dream, our richly detailed engraved prints are exceptional printed pieces, expertly crafted by incorporating images, text, and other engraved elements—such as portraits and vignettes—using intaglio, gravure, and offset printing processes.
The raised portion of the print is created using intaglio/gravure, the the color is filled in via offset. The three Apollo prints also use this process. The raised portion is the engraving, the color fill is via offset.
Just look up the term engraving print to start with. From the Wiki:
Engraving is the practice of incising a design onto a hard, usually flat surface by cutting grooves into it with a burin. The result may be a decorated object in itself, as when silver, gold, steel, or glass are engraved, or may provide an intaglio printing plate, of copper or another metal, for printing images on paper as prints or illustrations; these images are also called "engravings".
That’s the look/feel of the spacesuit/helmet. The rest of the print probably got lost being printed on “cardboard,” versus the special linen of currency.
Still like it.
Checking for availability this AM.
Edit:
Nothing.
Even the Two Nation set was unavailable this morning.

Did anyone get a special Serial Number? Anyone hit the lottery and get serial 19690720
Considering the fact that the BEP was date-savvy enough to use that serial number in their advertising I would think it is safe to assume that note didn't even come close to being available to the hoi-polloi.

I gotta agree they probably pulled that serial number, and perhaps all of the serial numbers surrounding the dates of the entire mission. There are 300 more engraved prints based on the Mintage Limit vs. the Product Limit (6,000 vs 5,700) -- so what will they do with those 300 extra engraved prints? That would be a super limited edition if they made them available in a separate product...

Nothing has come up since the 18th.
I haven't seen anything either since the 18th. Does BEP offer Production & Sales figures like the US Mint does? Did they report how many were available or sold on the first day?
I once attempted to locate currency production stat's and got totally annoyed -- so gave up. Didn't need to know how many 20's were produced in Feb 2019. There has to be a stats page for their premium products.
Got my order of sets yesterday and opened them. No cool S#s, but they are all consecutive. It is a very nice presentation set.

Well, mine did not arrive yesterday. Left Honolulu 7/21 @ 11:56. Arrived at my Maui Post Office 7/23 @ 8:53. Delivered to my mail box @ 1:04. Must have made a Round the Islands tour/ HaHa. At least it did not make a to Guam and back.
Did anyone get a special Serial Number? Anyone hit the lottery and get serial 19690720
I got mine in the mail but I have not opened any of them just in case PCGS happen to encase the Print in a Special First Strike Slab/Holder then mine will qualify for the FS Designation.
We returned from vacation yesterday. I was very pleasantly surprised by this product which I had ordered as soon as it was released from Hawaii. I bought it just to enjoy it not to flip it but I couldn't be happier.

One interesting thing is the Product Limit is 5,700. Your serial number goes beyond the product limit -- so that means there are some gaps in Serial Numbers (assuming sequential from 0001 through 6,000)

Suspect as other mentioned there are a few (300?) that were/are reserved. Maybe to give out to former/current/future astronauts. I do hope not to give to members of Congress, but it does happen.
I haven’t received mine yet but it is probably waiting for me in my post office box. As I read your reports and observations, I am more excited by either seeing it or having it preserved by PCGSSSSS.....give me some more sth’sss.
I was on the fence with these when they were released on the 16th. I think my order was placed about 30 minutes before they went to "unavailable". Well my order came in today and I was very happy with it. Very nice set, nice quality.

That might be closest to an absolute winning S/N I've seen outside of the Mint sample pics.
But you know what they say, horse shoes, hand grenades and atom bombs.... Close, but no cigar...
Yes but I have another order for ten waiting for me at the UPS depot. The US Mint order for that package ends in 197. The picture above is from my order ending in 194. There is hope and hope is a good thing...

OK, so I have picked up my second order. The first set of serial numbers ran from 19690740 o 19690747. The next order is from the same warehouse wave and the package ID is one number apart. To open or not to open?

I wouldn't assume they were picked from the same sequence of sets from when your first order was filled, since we have no clue how PFSWeb fulfills orders. But hey, to quote a really famous person...
You've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do you, punk?
Seriously, I would do with the sets what you were originally planning on doing with the sets. I've played that S/N game long enough to know I'm not lucky enough to win the S/N game. and as @Kudbegud points out, we don't know how the BEP pulls those FRN's.
Comments
My brother managed to get one between 8:30AM & 9AM this morning. He's very happy to be able to snag one.
Mine shipped
Nothing more satisfying than buying one when it's "unavailable" !!! Lol
Shipped, too. But did the free free free which means slow slow slow delivery.
To rectify bought more notes with a couple Pride of Two Nations sets for the free expedited shipping.

Had about 23 or so available this AM and Apollo beckoned and I accepted (again).
Others' made it go UA.
They were up for about 5 minutes this morning.
They removed the HH Limit, so even if they do have them again they might not last as long (depending on demand of course)...
My order is in "the mail" with a delivery date of Friday...(via UPS)
None available this morning.
We shall find out if any more of these are available during the up coming mornings.
Got mine this morning!
Mine took a detour through Kansas again... smh...
Mine left Honolulu late last night, no side trip to Guam, so should be delivered around 2:30 pm this afternoon.
Expedited shipping works pretty good! Of course it’s UPS.

The BEP's business is to print stuff.
I just picked up some of the first moon landing stamps and they too are impressive with a nice finish.
