Hi guy's. Happy 4Th of July! Like I started to say, sure many companies will observe the Holiday, including our generous Host. If memory serves me correct, this will be the first time that PCGS forums will shut down for the 4Th of July! If I'm wrong please correct me. Our Host also deserves the right as most of the country does. It just struck me as kind of odd. Once again, Happy 4Th of July guy's and to our Host as well.

I don't see any mention of the online forum.
I'm assuming that the boards will also shut down. I hope you guys are right and I'm wrong. By the way, I do know what happens when one "assumes" ass/u/and me!

Since PCGS is closed on weekends.....and the forums keep chugging along....I see no reason to think they would shut them down during the holiday. Computers don't need holidays.
The internet doesn't shut down on holidays.
The forums here did not get shut down on Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, etc.

Ok, here is the Official answer! I just contacted customer service on the phone, the boards and forums will stay active. So she sez. Thanks guys.

This week has been slow already, not going to open today, but may ride down to the shop and hang out a few hours and tidy up a bit. If somebody calls, I will meet them however

I think you might be surprised just how little this forum requires the everyday efforts of our hosts. It's quite generous of them to provide the venue and tolerate us all and there are obviously costs involved but nobody has to come in on the 4th to crank up the generator or to feed the hamsters.
If we don't behave ourselves Monday will be plenty soon enough to clean up any of our messes.
Now, here's a mess right here.
It's gonna be hard to clean this one up, though.
