Yes, I did. Last night.
Remember, they are across the dateline so it's tomorrow there. The coins were supposed to ship 6/4. They are 4 hours behind Hawaii (just like Guam) and tomorrow. It can be a mind bender. Living and working on Guam in the 80's reset my in-head time calculator so I'm used to it.
When you fly back to Hawaii the flights leaves around 10 pm so you could usually get that super restful airline sleep (NOT). There were sometimes Pub Flights where there was a bar set up with free drinks all flight long. I'd leave Friday night and arrive in Honolulu 6 am Friday. Two Fridays in the same week hahaha. Then returning the next Friday from Honolulu I'd arrive Sunday in Guam paying back that extra day I got on the way over. It took some getting used to.

Someone let me know where these half-sets keep coming from.
And on the puck web page:
This product is currently on backorder, but orders are being fulfilled at a rate of approximately 2,000 units per week. This constraint is due to limited availability of blanks that meet our strict requirements.
If you do the math, 2K/week with 28 weeks left in the year will reach the 100K mintage by late December. Not that they'll sell that many, but it's a realistic goal...
Sales are picking up, quite rare for a commemorative. I'm also being spammed by the mint about these commems every time I watch a video on YouTube, and the event date is approaching, so maybe sales might turn out better than expected...
It says the package glows in the dark, and it does! (I had an exposure time of about 1 second, and I was handholding the camera, so it's not the best of pics, but it's better than those darned Rocketships...)
Everyone needs an Oreo every once in a while...
Good morning Hemi. Been doing some reading on this thread from the first post to now listening is truly the way to learn Wow the expectation for the 5 oz Apollo 11 coins and the reality are a movie. The advertising is shameless 🙀jzyskowski
@Jzyskowski1 there is a movie... no, wait, that has nothing to do with coins. Now it’s time to feasts upon the goodies, might need to find some of them, “Split Appears When Opened,” Oreos that @BackroadJunkie posted and🥛or ☕️.

It took me a while (I'm slow.... well, at least today).
The "slit" (not split) is part of the tamper proof packaging for a lot of cookies and products. The package opens from the front, and once opened has some tamper proof features, and a "slit" appears where the package opens. (I just happen to have an open package of Peanut Butter Oreos. Mmmmmm...)
I haven't opened mine yet. I hope the "Marshmallow" flavor is better than the "Birthday Cake" filling in the 90th Mickey Mouse offerings...
Ummmm.... Coins. I gots no clue how to tie coins into this... They're both round....

Were you around in 1976 for the bicentennial?
Nothing could have beat that for shameless advertising. If Nabisco could have done it back then, they would have had an Oreo with red, white and blue filling....
Hi guys, I am visiting the US for work and will stay here a year.
I am from Europe and I collect commemorative Euro coins, mainly looking in my change and requesting some rolls from banks at the time of new circulating commemoratives releases. I own no proof coins at the moment.
Therefore, I was fascinated by the US coins, after I arrived here. I have already started checking for the National Parks and 50 States quarters with a lot of satisfaction.
I am fascinated by the Apollo commemorative, since it is also the topic of my degree, and I will probably get one (more for personal interest than as an investment). The gold and 5oz ones are out of my budged, so I am debating between the half dollar or the one dollar. I'd love to have some thoughts/suggestions from you guys on which one to get.

Hey! Welcome to the swamp!
I'd go for the $1 Silver. The Proof (in my opinion) looks better than the Uncirculated, but that's a personal judgement. The $1 canvas is larger than the half, and it's at least .999 silver versus a cupro-nickel clad.
The curved coin does look better in hand than in the pictures.
Welcome 1 oz silver Apollo 👍🏼 For fun in 2014 the first domed baseball coin was produced makes a nice set ? Was asked a few posts back if I was around in ‘76 answer: yup. Red white and blue Oreos if they could have! I believe I was working and bouncing rugrats off my knee 🙀jzyskowski
ordered the silver proof...US $106.43..(with free s&h and no sales tax)..I know, it's a steep price for a one ozer, but I like the design. It will be parked with the US & Australian proof versions.
(When ordering from the US, make sure you use a cc that does not charge for a foreign currency transaction...I used my Capitol One Venture Card)
"Bongo drive 1984 Lincoln that looks like old coin dug from ground."
Ahh ok 🙀jzyskowski we are talking about a 1 oz silver Apollo 11 proof coin minted in the USA? Because just what details are better and mintage is what it is or are the Canadian ones special or different?Hmm humble pie is a dish I know well in this case a slice of crow will do and maybe a shut the hell up till I do a little research is in order. Your humble bumbler 🙀jzyskowski. Even my cat is laughing at me,damn!

Just compare both designs....& mintage.
Canada: .9999 1 oz fine silver ..Mintage 5,500...USA ,999 fine silver...Mintage Limit: 400,000 across all silver product options

New to US????? Not sure what you're talking about. Why should you be confused as to buying Canadian coins. I buy coins from any major Country that has a Superior design with limited mintage's. FYI, I do have the US coins...all graded F.S. PR70 by PCGS.

@Kudbegud
Got the email!
APMEX has the 2-coin set with the enhanced RPF Kennedy available.
As of this post eight are available for above Mint price.
Done with these. Still waiting on the corrected sleeve.
New sales data courtesy of the US Mint. Full sales data can be found in post 3 of this thread.
The data below represents weeks 17 to 19.
@Kudbegud
Apollo/RAM set is being sent via USPS Priority Mail Express International and Informed Delivery already picked it up for tracking.
Today it processed through Sydney SAL.
Good stuff!
—————
US Mint’s website has a link to RAM and the joint set.
https://eshop.ramint.gov.au/50th-Anniversary-of-the-Lunar-Landing-Two-Coin-Set/10283.aspx
I signed up for Australian Tracking and see this

Not knowing what Narrabundah is I looked it up
Got the sleeves. Stuck them and the letter with the original error sleeves.
Still waiting on the backordered puck. Probably will get the joint US/RAM Apollo set before that puck.
CC was hit this AM and the BO puck is processing. Order date was 23 Feb the last day to get the discount.
Got an update from Informed Delivery.
In customs at Chicago on the 8th and “expected delivery” is 10 Jun.
What is the official release date?
6/4. I can only assume we both have the same shipping details. I see it on Informed Delivery but not the Chicago progress.
Got a couple emails from Australian Post (AP) about it too. Sure want to make sure I know the status. Good stuff!
It goes into to say it’ll go to local carrier after Chicago, I guess that means USPS.
Edit to update:
Received email from AP that its cleared customs.
Got the US/RAM Apollo set. Sorry for the bad pics.
Beautiful Coin !
Looks so much better than the USM P roduct.
Mine should follow shortly
Progress is afoot. At least it is in the US......somewhere.
News Flash
Now I know it's in the hands of the good ole USPS

@Kudbegud
Mine sailed through customs same day it arrived then off to me and was in the mailbox in two days.
Probably because you are a prince among men. Royal treatment always shown.

I got the Informed Delivery email so my ear will be tuned to the approach of the mail carrier on Friday.
Maybe king of my own porcelain throne.
USPS added a day to my delivery. Now it's Saturday.

Dates are good. When it says it’s “on-time” I alway wonder.
Good to know

Delivered ! 2 pm HST
Whew that coin almost went around the world! If it wasn’t for customs you could have received the set much quicker @Kudbegud.
I kept the tissue paper packing. Don’t know why, but maybe because it came from Australia.
I'm thinking of keeping it too. Some of it anyway....for inside the hinged box. Like the white bubble envelope too.

Dang that IS “slit” and NOT “split.”
I must have “spilt” some caffeine when I looked at it earlier.

@aquilafedele
Welcome to the US, the CU forums, and enjoy it all!
The third BEP engraving has hit the product schedule for July 19. How appropriate.
Apollo 11 50th Anniversary 2019 Engraved Print: Giant Leap
No other details yet, but my guess is it's already sold out or very, very close to it. But there you are.
Thanks. Just posted in the BEP $50 thread wondering when this 3rd print would ship. Ask and you shall receive.
Quoting myself again... The Mint has populated the webpage.
Same as the first two. $20 (if you didn't subscribe for $17.) Mintage/product limit remains at 8,000. No HHL, but that's probably a moot point.
You know, I haven't even opened the first two prints yet...
Another tribute coin this time from Spain.
You can check it out here: https://tienda.fnmt.es/fnmttv/fnmt/en/Products/Coins/50TH-ANNIV-1ST-LANDING-ON-THE-MOON-%282019%29-SILVER-COIN/p/92897011
Also available as a set with the US 50 cent coin.
The cost is a little high too.
I will skip this one as I already got several foreign tribute coins.
17 days until 50th Ann.
Apollo sales may pickup for a bit.
