@BackroadJunkie Thanks for these weekly updates. Still checking since I am still waiting on my BO puck and it appears they are still trickling out. Last update was 28, so 4 a day.
Hmm... wait, most gov does not work weekends, 5 days, 5.6 per day; but probably all done on one day until something broke.
I grabbed one of the Half Dollar sets this morning. Not sure how many they had - I placed my order and then they were gone... I will report back what sleeve I get when I receive the set...

Missed it!
And I was on the Mint’s site this AM, but did not think to check for these.
I ordered my gold proof 30 min after they went on sale and was fortunate to get a PF70. I'd like to add a PF70 5oz silver puck but at this point I'll wait until the next FUN show. Factoring in the cost to get graded, the markup is already under $40 for these on Ebay.

I was going to type that I am glad I’m done with it all but then I remember I still have a BO puck from way back when. No idea why I don’t cancel. Glutton for punishment.

That free shipping is costing me a fortune! I tell myself it's ok to order one set at $53.95 because I get "Free Shipping" LOL
Finally got my Apollo 11 commemorative coins back from PCGS Grading... I sent in 4 of the 5 oz. Silver Dollars and a pair of the $5 gold coins, one proof and one uncirculated. If you have about 7 minutes to kill, you can see how I did here, ha!
I enjoyed the entire video! It was fun (from a viewer point of view) to wait in anticipation on what grades you got. That double holder looks great holding both gold coins!

Watched the video...and cringed at the way you used that knife!
The dangerous combination of a dull knife and using it while looking through the view finder of the camera!
Still... the suspense. There were two things that seem to catch everyone’s attention.
-what is the grade of the coins? Almost everyone on this forum goes through the anticipation (dread?) of waiting for their grades (over and over again). Oh, the relief and happiness when you see 70!
-will this be the first grade reveal vid with bloodletting? That would unique and might prove to be educational. We could find out how well sealed the slabs are as the blood spurts all over them as the grades are revealed. Part II: After the cutaway we see a well bandaged hand and cleaned up slabs and find that the slabs... Part III: To be continued.
I just finally got my 2nd Priceless Apollo 11 poster from the Mint after the USPS for some reason when it arrived in my home town of Kenai on the 15th. Some smart postal person decided to send it out to our Capitol of Juneau some 1005 Miles away. I just finally got it today after it took them an additional 17 days to send it back and it looks a bit bent and beat up. Do you think the Priceless poster is wrinkled and BENT inside? Well there is no replacement if it is. Thanks USPS.
Hemispherical it would not of been so bad but it looked like some one shoved it into a small PO Box in Juneau. What can you do especially since they only made 8000 of these. One day I will open the letter, but still hoping to get it in a PCGS 1st Strike Apollo 11 Counterfeit Proof Encased Custom Poster Slab!!!!
The Joint US Mint and Royal Australian Mint Apollo coin set is out!
Cost is about $149 USD (including international shipping). Do not know if it varies from state to state. I have placed my order and received a confirmation email and the "Sales Order Acknowledgement" PDF.
Pic's below are from RAM. The mintage limit for the set is 10,000.
Shipping ("dispatch" on the RAM website) date is 5 Jun 2019. Basically, this is a pre-order.

Edit to add: Did you notice the address in the acknowledgement form does not have the city?
I did not see that till I checked at your mention. The Zip Code is correct on the confirmation. Checking the Order Summery on the Mint's site I see the state shows OK. Odd but I'm confident the coins will arrive with no problems. Pretty sure they handle lots of orders from the US.
Found an article about the release of the joint US & RAM mint’s coin set.

Joint U.S. and Australia 50th Anniversary Moon Landing Set Available

“Ordering opened Monday, May 6, for the joint Royal Australian Mint and United States Mint product containing a 2019 Apollo 11 clad half dollar and a 2019 $5 Moon Landing 1oz silver coin.
Limited to a set mintage of 10,000 pieces, both of the included coins are domed shaped, struck in collector proof finish, and commemorate the 50th anniversary of mankind’s first landing on the Moon.
The historic feat happened on July 20, 1969. With the assistance of Australia’s CSIRO’s Parkes radio telescope in New South Wales, millions around the world watched Apollo 11 crew mates Neil Armstrong and Edwin "Buzz" E. Aldrin, Jr. walk on the Moon.”
The sphere features an all-over pattern representing the moon's signature cratered surface, with the reverse incused with the distinctive impression from an astronaut's boot. The Coat of Arms of Barbados appears on the obverse, encircled by the inscriptions "BARBADOS," "1 OZ," "5 DOLLARS," "AG 999" and the date "2019" divided by the emblem.

To mark the 50th anniversary of this first Moon landing, the U.S. Postal Service will issue two forever stamps to celebrate this historic moment. One stamp features Armstrong’s iconic photograph of Aldrin in his spacesuit on the surface of the Moon. The other stamp, a photograph of the moon taken in 2010 by Gregory H. Revera from his home in Madison, Alabama, shows the landing site of the lunar module, Eagle, in the Sea of Tranquility. The site is indicated on the stamp by a dot. Art director Antonio Alcalá designed the stamp art.

Has anyone had their back ordered 5 oz arrive yet? I ordered on 2-2 and was given a 10-15 date. About a month ago the Mint changed it to 6-10 and then said they were shipped on 5-21. I checked the new delivery date for an order and it says 7-21; they must be stocking up on the blanks finally. I wonder if it will ever sell out after such a first day sale?

I got my backorder a few weeks ago. The box and the coin was very loose. I don't know how the mint handles returns and cancelled orders, but the coin I got didn't feel like a newly minted/packaged coin. It felt like I got a coin that was returned. I returned the coin as it wasn't what I expected.
The set is restricted to an issue of 100,000 sets. Approximately 70,000 sets with the misprinted artistic credits were shipped to customers.
