Anyway, he contributed to the John Reich Journal (Journal of the John Reich Collectors Society) 39 articles. He contributed 35 articles to the Gobrecht Journal (Journal of the Liberty Seated Collectors Club). He also contributed six articles to the E-Gobrecht (monthly digital journal of the Liberty Seated Collectors Club).
I can guarantee you that he likely had his hands in at least that same 80 articles or likely many, many more articles for "the bust people" and the "liberty seated people" that he advised who were writing articles of their own. I know I consulted him every time I wrote about half dime die remarriages, as he had an appreciation for them like none other.
I didn't know him personally only through his posts here on the forum and by what so many others have written about him here, I'd like to offer my condolences to his family and many friends.
Just last night I got confirmation from Bill Fivaz that the next Cherry Picker's Guide is going to change the
1849/8 V-4 FS-301 to 1849/6 V-4 FS-301a, and the
1849/8 V-2 FS-302 to 1849/6 V-2 FS-302a
I was able to convince Bill of this change with the pictures of the 1849/6 V-2 VEDS that Steve sent me of the coin that I sold him some years ago. Thanks again, Steve!

One of my best friends in numismatics. I will miss his humor and friendship the most.
The world is a lesser place today without him. He influenced many of us in ways we are only now beginning to understand.
