Thoughts on W Quarters

Now that the window on getting Lowell W Quarters in special holders has closed, how many collectors/dealers will submit these quarters for regular holders. I know that the general thought here, is that these holders don’t make much sense, but the prices are what they are. Could high grade coins in regular holders actually command more money due to the fact that they had the opportunity to circulate more? I know they might be locked up in rolls and truly not circulating but just tossing these ideas around in my head....

The window has closed on both the Lowells and AMs.
The first week pedigree for War is ending this coming Wednesday (12 Jun).
There are a few non-pedigreed Lowells and AMs already slabbed based upon the pop reports.

And still I search for my 'wild find' W quarter.... Well... it is fun anyway.... What a surprise it would be to find one in a coinstar reject slot...
It could happen...
More likely I will get one in a roll from the bank...Stay tuned.. will have to find a special .gif or something to post when I find one...Cheers, RickO
Has anyone found any in Alabama bank rolls?

I sent some even prior to cutoff without the "early find" attribution. I'll have a 67 memorial park next week without it. I don't see that label as a value-add, and I will continue to submit trying to make a PCGS 68. I have a couple of 68 W-Quarters, but they are graded ATS.
I did send more than I normally would of Guam quarters for first week designation, just in case. But I think the "premium" for the first week of discovery quarters is just the typical modern pattern of first coins to market are the most expensive. Time will tell.
There will be a small subset of collectors that want the pedigrees, but I would guess that most people care more about the coin.
In a few years I'm expecting to see fresh Bank Rollls of all common pocket change ( with the "rare" W mintmark ) available from a select few Change Dealers for only 100X face.
Get in early or get left behind. This could be the next " Bitcoin". Or the next BYND. 🤑
Found in the "wild" last week. Three W Lowell found in a fresh roll of American Memorial Park quarters. Looks like the coin rolling machine was a little hard on them. These were found in St. Louis. Silver quarter was from a vending machine in eastern Iowa.
My daughter buys a roll of quarters every week for laundry - I hope she finds a W quarter for me, there is a reward.
The entire W situation is a veritable storm in a teacup. But a savvy marketing move for our host (All due respect), which will holder thousands of 64-65s, that might have gone unheralded.
It’s all a rather wonderful subject for a college level marketing course.
How to make items worth 25 cents appear to have gravitas.
It’s also a registry set and is part of the overall registry point total. This must have been the update/hiccups when trying to access apps and website last week.
