And so many other things but enough about me, what do you have to be thankful for today?

I feel the same way. It was one of the better discussions I've seen here in a long time, and it was coin related (somewhat). Maybe I missed the last few comments and maybe they turned ugly but the four pages of comments before it were pretty civil and a good debate.
This thread has less (nothing) to do with coins so I guess it's going to be removed soon too.
If I'm breathing fresh air, I'm thankful.
Kids are grownup and self-sufficient. Being a grandparent.
My wife.
My relative health.
Am able to pay the bills.
Everything else is secondary.

My wife was there for me, saved my life and drove me to the VA ER at the peak of my despair. I'm less crazy, clean and sober, my PTSD is manageable, rediscovered my 1960's coin collection, running 50+ miles a week, grandkids, every day is beautiful. Peace Roy

Ain't this the truth. I am thankful today because my oldest daughter got a generous financial aid package for her junior year at college. Now I just have to work on the appeal of the award for my incoming freshman daughter.
I am also grateful for entertaining podcasts and comfortable cars, as we will have one child in school three hours to the south and the other six hours to the north.

What do I have to be thankful for today? Surviving pneumonia that came very close to killing me two weeks ago. Recovering quite well due to skilled medical people and my higher power.
No complaints from this corner!
Another day enjoying my family and friends.
God in Heaven.
Good family and friends.
A good job.

So hopefully the next step fixes this.
