  Sometimes people take a vacation and don't post. It happens.

  Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

  I am still IN and hardly OUT although I wished there are 36 hours in A day Missing You ALL and seeing your icons alone made me smile
  Give me 'till summer and I'll be amongst my friends here more often.

  Generally I can grade a coin without magnification since I'm very near sighted. I do use a quality loupe to look for tooling, hairlines, or other defects which is an important part of the grading process. As always, a good light source is also important---a halogen or incandescent light for grading and a fluorescent light for authentication.
