Thank you to everyone who has said they are not experiencing the issue, however at this time it is most beneficial to hear from those that are. Please do not post off-topic comment on this thread at this time as it will make it harder for me to sort through responses.
oh and sorry @Insider2 for all of the notifications you are getting, you will be awarded the bug badge in appreciation once this is all done.

LOL, well in that case I will not highjack this discussion back with a title of my choice using the "edit" option.

Heather, I have the same problems as the others with Like Agree etc and edit but ONLY with MS Internet Explorer. Don't have the problem if I switch to Chrome.
I still can't log out and I gave everyone a like and a few agrees and a few LOL's but I still don't have permission
Thanks @Insider2, I didn't see this post until you linked it
Thanks to all of the information provided by those experiencing the issue we believe the problem has been identified and the provider of the forum software is working on a fix. I will provide a timeline as soon as I have one. In the mean-time, using an alternate browser is a good temporary fix.
Thanks for the Info. I tried Bing to no avail. I'll use my cell for now.

Side note, @HeatherBoyd .... has anyone else noticed a problem/difference in the notifications?
I used to be able to see my notifications in the upper right (a number next to the little globe) and click on that and then see my notifications.
As of at least yesterday, I still SEE the notifications but, when I click on it, it takes me to my profile and then I have to look to the right hand side of the screen and click on the word "notifications" (under my icon "change picture" area).
I checked and it is only "broken" on IE (I tested against Firefox as well, and that works).
IE 11.0.9600.19266
Desktop PC (x86)
Winver reports: Build 7601: Service Pack 1 (Windows 7 Ultimate, 64bit)
If this is separate, and should have its own thread/investigation, please let me know.
What Firefox shows (and what IE used to do until just recently):

Where it takes me now, when I click on that globe/notifications:

What you have noticed is what seems to be happening to many of us. It means your CU forum is broken. I'm running normal on Chrome at the moment (now posting OK since yesterday) but my Internet Explorer connection to CU has behaved as you report since the beginning of my problem and I cannot log out.
I was running IE 11 only on my home computer. Loaded up Chrome and everything is working. For anyone still having this problem it might be a good work around for you too. If your are running Chrome and have the bug you might check for updates or reinstall.
Gotta go....I have lots of LOL's, Likes & Agrees to catch up on.
Wanted to try the edit feature, it works too. Side note IE still not working.

Has enabling java resolved the issue?

No, it has been enabled the whole time. I did not need to turn it back on.
My check of the above website says that Javascript is enabled but I get the annoying message if I want to like something.
And tried to like Hemi's link post and it still doesn't work.
Thank you for clarifying, the team is working on troubleshooting this issue to resolve it as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience.

We should all get a bunch of free likes/agrees/LOLs credited to our accounts once the issue is resolved.
Are you having this issue as well?

Maybe out-of-date Java. Latest version was released 15 Jan 19 and can be found here:

For mobile device users, read this: https://java.com/en/download/faq/java_mobile.xml
As usual YMMV.

The Agree, Like, and LOL history are still missing. You used to be able to go look a long ways back, now you can only see the last few threads.

I don't know if this little bit helps, but I'm using Firefox and having zero issues.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
The problem appears to be an incompatibility between the forum software and the browser Microsoft Internet Explorer.
I was asked for details of my PC and browser and I supplied them.
