MaineJim's pic of Cantone's reminded me of this pic I took about 8 or 10 years ago. "Whiskey's" as it was known started as a good country music and line-dancing bar and evolved into a little bit of everything on different nights. It wound up doing a lot of 50's nights and had a tremendous Saturday evening cruse-in that would regularly bring 250 cars or more. Unfortunately it got sold, renovated, lost use of the neighboring parking lot, and now it's just a fraction of what it was though they try to keep it going. In it's heyday it was incredible fun.

Here are six first ladies, 20 years ago next month, at a joint fund-raising appearance at the United States Botanic Garden in Washington. The body language seems revealing.
