Innsbruck Mall in Asheville, NC. Built in the 1960’s it has seen VERY little updating since.
It’s almost entirely abandoned, I believe it’s occupancy is about 10% (I’d guess)
I took these pictures Wednesday. It’s like walking back in time. And VERY eerie!

Here’s a ship model that I completed last weekend of the legendary icebreaker Arktika, along with some of my little Arktika collectibles and my description from an instagram post I made about it.
Арктика! Arktika! The legendary ship that spawned an unrivaled class of nuclear powered icebreakers. Commissioned in the 1975, Arktika’s general purpose was to clear shipping lanes of ice during the harsh Russian winters. In August 1977 she became the first surface ship to reach the geographic North Pole (American subs had been there earlier from under the ice). This ‘77 expedition also coincided with the 60th Anniversary year of the October Revolution, and as such Arktika instilled an enormous sense of cultural pride. The ship also set a record for being the first civilian ship to spend a year at sea without making port in 2000, and in her years of service she covered over 1 million nautical miles before retiring in 2008. It’s a cool ship, so I wanted to make one: This is a repackaged Soviet-era model kit that I just completed with a circa 1980 color scheme. The kit has nowhere near the detail and quality of modern kits, but creating some depth and dimension with painting was fun. Also shown are a stamp, Santa post card, pin, and coin

I had to 'borrow' the neighbor's preschoolers to make a snowman yesterday.
Their first attempt after I showed them how to roll the snowballs and the second attempt after I helped a bit.
I'm thinking about piping in mariachi music for my humming bird thinking it's in Baja today.

Lost my daughter, 34 years old, to alcoholism last Saturday. She was loved by all who knew her.
So sorry for your loss, BG.

Thanks @HeatherBoyd! This is a very nice thread to see the visual aspects of coin collectors’ outside of just coins.

I'm confused.......restored the thread but lost months?
No snow to speak of here in East Tennessee, but in 2010 I was able to build a 7' tall snowman with an 8" snowfall.
I noticed that too, a few months are missing. Oh well, I'm just glad it was able to be brought back...
