When you can buy the real thing for about the same money, why mess with this, which is proably illegal to own?
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
Also reported the other similar auction that OP noted on another thread.
Our old-fashioned American Silver Eagles will become worthless.
The U.S. Mint needs to adopt some of the new security features which the British and the Canadians have already introduced several years ago. Or the Mint needs to develop some new security feature of its own.

It would not surprise me if these things were somewhere state side, ready to ship.

I recently got a newly-made plastic gaming/gambling related item sent here from China in an individual plastic mailer. I paid a grand total of $3.07 and it was an eBay deal.
The package came from China in only ten days and the quality of the item was relatively high. Somebody has to be subsidizing the postage, otherwise the seller lost money.
I may be wrong! However, it appears as if our friendly neighborhood counterfeiters have come upon a legal means of selling their product. I do hope they fail at this.
Too bad Ebay doesn't care. The seller will relist it ten times with no penalty from Ebay. When Ebay does finally take action, Ebay will close this seller's account so that the seller will have to open another one,
They clearly state it is of iron composition in one of those links....and yet call it silver in the title.... and others claim their is silver, for well below spot. Yet, people will buy them....some are being cheated, others use them for scams....Cheers, RickO
The law is clear.
I'm not a lawyer but If Ebay has been informed that they are allowing the listings of counterfeits and does not take action against that seller, they "knowingly supports the seller." Especially if they allow the seller to continue after the 3rd violation that can easily be seen as those in the listings in my post above.
It shall be a violation of the Act and the regulations promulgated thereunder for a person to provide substantial assistance or support to any manufacturer, importer, or seller of imitation numismatic items, or to any manufacturer or importer of imitation political items, if that person knows or should have known that the manufacturer, importer, or seller is engaged in any practice that violates the Act and the regulations promulgated thereunder.
§304.6 Marking requirements for imitation numismatic items.
(a) An imitation numismatic item which is manufactured in the United States, or imported into the United States for introduction into or distribution in commerce, shall be plainly and permanently marked “COPY”.
(b) The word “COPY” shall be marked upon the item legibly, conspicuously, and nondeceptively, and in accordance with the further requirements of these regulations.
(1) The word “COPY” shall appear in capital letters, in the English language.
(2) The word “COPY” shall be marked on either the obverse or the reverse surface of the item. It shall not be marked on the edge of the item.
(3) An imitation numismatic item of incusable material shall be incused with the word “COPY” in sans-serif letters having a vertical dimension of not less than two millimeters (2.0 mm) or not less than one-sixth of the diameter of the reproduction, and a minimum depth of three-tenths of one millimeter (0.3 mm) or to one-half ( 1⁄2 ) the thickness of the reproduction, whichever is the lesser. The minimum total horizontal dimension of the word “COPY” shall be six millimeters (6.0 mm) or not less than one-half of the diameter of the reproduction.
(4) An imitation numismatic item composed of nonincusable material shall be imprinted with the word “COPY” in sans-serif letters having a vertical dimension of not less than two millimeters (2.0 mm) or not less than one-sixth of the diameter of the reproduction. The minimum total horizontal dimension of the word “COPY” shall be six millimeters (6.0 mm) or not less than one-half of the diameter of the reproduction.
Instead of not being a lawyer and posting legal stuff, have you IN WRITING, formally contacted ebay ebay with the question? With their staff of 518 attorneys, one of them will give you a response.

He posts this on the bottom does this mean he is telling you its not real?
Note: This is only souvenir, not money
Most likely not silver either.

My understanding is that shipping from China to the US is subsidized heavily by the Chinese government.
It would not surprise me if these things were somewhere state side, ready to ship.

I thought it has to say "copy" on the coin itself to be sold.....otherwise it's counterfeiting. The description is irrelevant
