Dealers in Exonumia

Anyone have any recommendations for dealers in Exonumia? I am specifically looking for items from my hometown of Kalamazoo MI and from Empire MI (one token exists).

I bought a collection from Paul Cunningham and several store cards from a Steve Hayden and looking for others to build out this cheap but super fun collection. Of course I’ve checked eBay. Any ideas??

    One of the best was Rich Hartog but he passed away a couple years ago. Not sure where his inventory went.

    Thanks, that was my first thought as well but unfortunately the dealer list is small and most links are dead.

    Steve Hayden and Earnie Latter.

    They have a decent inventory of Civil War tokens, which were issued from the towns you cited.

    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

    Happen to have an email for Latter? All the links to his past site are dead.

    I regularly check in with Hayden and have bought several recently.

    Duane Feisel runs mail bid auctions a few times a year. He gets tokens from all over. He is frequently the go-to when a large token collection (unfortunately, often from someone deceased) needs to be parted out. You could ask him to put you on his mailing list.

    There is the National Token Collectors Association (NTCA) which has an annual show and a cool little magazine. Lots of mail bid auctions in there as well, as well as regional experts.

    If there is a local metal detector club in your area check with them
    There are a lot of trade tokens and exonumia found by detectorists.
