Attending Big Shows geographic dealer question

My wife is excited about the Florida FUN shows in January/July because of family in the area and resorts.

I mentioned Long Beach and her eyes lit up!

Hypothetically, if you were going to devise an optimum 3 to 4 stop annual coin show travel schedule what would be your choices?

Is there a regional diversity and dispersion of dealers etc at bigger shows?

Also some consideration to auctions and ANA educational opportunities.

    My choices are:
    FUN in Jan
    Baltimore (not the summer show)
    Central states?
    ANA large show depends on the location.

    Of course I fill in with some pretty fair size regional shows.

    The summer FUN show is a regional, not a national event. I have purchased some nice coins there, but it is not close in size to the Winter FUN, big ANA, and fall and spring Baltimore shows. If you going to be in the area or if the family wants to go to the theme parks, it’s worth the day. I would not travel a long distance to get to it just for the show.

    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

    I would attend the Summer Fun if they didn't charge me the same rate as the Winter show which is a day longer!

    From a collector’s standpoint: Winter FUN, ANA, Baltimore, and then your home state’s Numismatic Association show
