    Crazy how those couple ended up fully submerged in the slab insert goop and still saved.

    Also cool to see an ex clarkbar coin in the pics even if they didn't put it on the holder. ;)

    Great gesture, great job, and great story by NGC. I am looking forward to the PCGS side of the restoration to be completed and reported.

    Aside form being a great human interest story of how the coins were recovered, this article demonstrates what the TPGs can do to help a collector recover from a catastrophic event. I am amazed at those before and after pictures. It is a great demonstration of what expert conservation can achieve.
