Very nice... Silver is always nice to find.... I found one dime (not silver) and six cents.... I have found two of those yellow tokens as well.... Cheers, RickO

Haven't found a silver quarter in quite some time. And that brass token with the wings is some kind of religious piece. Definitely brought me up from an otherwise bluesy kind of day.

The angel medal is used by Catholic religious orders in mailings to solicit donations. They have been around for quite awhile and are still used. The silver quarter is a nice find. I have never found more than a silver dime and not many of those.

    All glory is fleeting.

Nice haul. My spirit has been very heavy checking Coinstar lately.

Good score. Most of the time these are silver Roosies, a nice find in their own right. But to uncover a silver Washington quarter really makes for a nice day.

Funny, right before Christmas I checked this same machine and it was ok overflowing with clad. Not one silver. I fed it back through, and it totaled out at nearly $17!
Still not as sexy as this 1963 Wasington Quarter

If you want more silver quarters, I'll sell you thousands at half of your sexy price. $8.50.

I find that the CoinStar machine is a more luctrative way to find silver than casual roll searching.

I have about a dozen of those gold plated "angel" tokens from Coinstar finds. Wish some angel would leave some silver in a machine I check!

    Nice find DCW!

I find perhaps 10 silver dimes for every silver quarter I find at my local Coinstar machines.

As a side note, scratch-off lottery ticket players use my local Coinstar machines as handy places to scratch their tickets. They tend to leave piles of discarded tickets on the machines. After finding a discarded $5 winner that way in May 2018 I started paying attention to discarded tickets. I am fast approaching $3,000 in lottery winnings via my Take A Second Look method.

Circ silver and it’s a quarter. Now that has a nice ring to it. Awesome!

I notice about the same - have found 2-3 half dollars over the past decade though - always 40%.

Great find! I wonder how many people check the coinstar everytime they pass by one, probably more than we think....so finds may also be a function of random timing :)
