It's even chilly in Florida. We are going to have one of those days when it wouldn't hit 60 degrees. That's cold for here.

I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
This one touched down here last week, and I'm very happy with it. It took me a long time to find the right no-motto Saint for my collection, and it will almost certainly be the only major acquisition I make this year.
Why do I always get the "Your comment will be posted after it's approved" notice? Do others get this too? About half the time I post pictures no prob the other half I get that notice. You think it would be all or nothing some kind of glitch

And damn it is COLD. -14 this morning at 7:00 AM. Now we are looking at a 3rd blast of snow in the last 8 or 9 days, anywhere from 6 - 12 more inches. Then the cold settles back in. Next week Wednesday the high/low is predicted at -14/-24. My town's all-time record low is -28. Could see history made.

This is the only ancient coin with hieroglyphics on it (42 known of the type with 20 not in museums). Surprisingly, the Egyptians only very briefly minted coins in their history, this one under Nektanebo II in 360 BC to pay mercenaries.

I purchased this piece from my wife's aunt. The story was her grandfather received it for jury duty. None of the rest of the family was interested in it.

You should all move to Alaska, 28 above here in the interior today.
It hit 82 today in Los Angeles.

Once again a medieval "4" and the "2" looks like a "Z"
