I think that's a fine Idea. If I'm correct, as I believe, it demeans/mocks the Army. Others may but I for one won't criticize the soldiers/Marines in country.

Thanks all, good to read the history of some of the background photos. Would be much easier if the contractor the Mint is using to sell these commemoratives put some details about the background photos.
It sure looks like a lamp to me & the expression on his face indicates he may not have wanted to be photographed.
