Way to hard to pick just one but I love the strike and color on this coin in my core collection.

Outside the core this is a very nice coin to me

This took some major thought.
Really tough. If it was my 5 faves, it wouldn't be that hard.

But..... winnowing down to what I ....really.... would end up with if I had to go down to only one....

I'd drag this one along if no one was looking, though.

The first coin i bought for my collection and still my favorite. It got me into the hobby and it is cool from many angles (rarity, color, 18th century, die crack...).

A date set is only 23 coins (realistically 18 or 78%)
Most of us don't do the last 5
Nice examples can be had for less than 2X melt value since the series doesn't seem to be that popular.

So many great coins in this thread. I try not to post this coin too often, but this one is truly my favorite. Kudos to RYK for releasing it to me from his collection many years ago.

It’s tough to capture in a photograph, but I love the beautiful tone of this coin as you rotate it in the light. It takes on a wonderful orangish glow that highlights the really cool obverse die crack. This is one of those coins that gets my imagination going.

What a remarkable collection. I love the toning on the Romulus and Remus piece. Outstanding coins.
