Beautiful specimen. Interesting how the blue will not show in the straight on pics. Isn't it tough to get yourself to crack that out for the Dansco? Will it take a couple Tom & Jerrys to get up the courage?

Great looking coin! Found myself doing the same thing lately!

    Yes.
Definitely tough to crack out such a spendy coin. It's the last hole in the album though so it must be done. B)
I need to get the dansco pages photographed... That might be my New years's resolution in a few days...

That's a nice attractive coin. The Seated Liberty Dollars are impressive and very attractive in the better grades like this.

Beautiful. Share some pics of the Dansco album.

I’m doing a Whitman album type set, and at some point that will require me to do some pretty courageous crack outs myself.

Funny how I like to put on my white coin gloves and handle a coin every once in a while. Merry Christmas!

Nice example! Aside from an additional grading fee I see no reason to worry about cracking this coin out and adding it to your Dansco album. She appears to be problem-free and should grade every time.

Congratulations on completing the 7070 type set album, a great accomplishment for any collector of US coins. It's an excellent survey of the major types. Looking forward to seeing your pictures!
