Handling my addiction

I have no intentions. 520 pictured with 9 not pictured, not including the PLs.
Yes my photos suck, I really need to work on that.

Stop when you get to 1492
If you are going to hoard. Go big! Thanks for showing the treasure.

This one? Unfortunately that is the only one in the group that is not.

Wow, I thought I was bad with my Merc and Roosie varieties! We both need serious help.

That is impressive. Do you have totals by date.
How many scrubs did not make the cut?
Does this coin have any specific significance
to you?
I think your prob is beyond problem Morgan Man
With a mintage of almost 3mil between 1892/93 I am aways off! I just buy them when I find them cheap. I have never paid over $8 for one and most were less than that.
I have it written down somewhere, I will have to look for it tomorrow. I believe it is about 25% 1892 and 75% 1893. 200 of them came from a collector that hoarded only 1893 so that is probably part of the reason for the wide spread.
No real significance, just got tired of the regular old 90% and these don't cost much more. Just different than the rest.
And here I thought that you were a descendant of Christopher Columbus!
Btw, cool hoard!
That's crazy!

Hmmm
If you are buying them as junk silver, good. Otherwise maybe diversify, but it is your collection.
I thought I was special by owning one. Now you burst my bubble
My strategy is about collecting what I intend to keep, not investing in what I plan to sell.
Seems like a healthy addiction anyway.
Q asheland: How many Columbian halves do you have?
A MorganMan94: ALL of them.

Well that's serious (but one of the better addictions).
It would be extremely difficult to not have to pay over $8 in our local/area markets. Would typically have to pay at least $10 or $12.
Felicidades!!
I like your style.
Thanks for sharing!
113 are 1892 and the rest are 1893
Wow! From one coin addict to another...Good Job! Here is one you will never pry from my fingers. Dang, now I have this compulsive need to go start my own massive hoard.
Why??

all this seems perfectly fine. its all beautiful
One is a find. Two is change. Three is a collection. Four and it's a HOARD!!!!!!! Seriously though, great collection!!!!
Now that is amazing.... I have never seen a focused hoard like that before....Well, 55 gallon drums of cents, sure... But not of commemoratives...Cheers, RickO
