I have no intentions. 520 pictured with 9 not pictured, not including the PLs.

Yes my photos suck, I really need to work on that.

This one? Unfortunately that is the only one in the group that is not. :D;)

That is impressive. Do you have totals by date.

With a mintage of almost 3mil between 1892/93 I am aways off! I just buy them when I find them cheap. I have never paid over $8 for one and most were less than that.

I have it written down somewhere, I will have to look for it tomorrow. I believe it is about 25% 1892 and 75% 1893. 200 of them came from a collector that hoarded only 1893 so that is probably part of the reason for the wide spread.
No real significance, just got tired of the regular old 90% and these don't cost much more. Just different than the rest.

If you are buying them as junk silver, good. Otherwise maybe diversify, but it is your collection.

I thought I was special by owning one. Now you burst my bubble ;)

My strategy is about collecting what I intend to keep, not investing in what I plan to sell.

Q asheland: How many Columbian halves do you have?

    A MorganMan94: ALL of them.

Well that's serious (but one of the better addictions).

It would be extremely difficult to not have to pay over $8 in our local/area markets. Would typically have to pay at least $10 or $12.
