May she RIP. I adored her late brother too.

She was not really a coin collector. She came to shows because of her close friend dealer Dwight Manley.

Among her films, I enjoyed A League of Their Own the most. I am sorry to hear of her passing.

Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

This part of the theme song has always stuck... “Schlemiel! Schlimazel! Hasenpfeffer Incorporated” ...do not know anything else but that.

    Rest In Peace

So that's the lyrics? Never could figure them out and Google hadn't been invented yet...

Wow, I had no idea she was 75 years old. I never watched many sit-coms, but Laverne and Shirley was definitely one I watched when I was a kid.

How very sad, thanks for the laughter in my youth.

May she rest in peace. What a great comedienne she was! I remember how "estupido" I felt when I finally realized that the design on her sweaters and skirts was an L for Laverne! DUH>>>

Especially with a name like Penny she earns the accolades on a coin forum.
