Legend Auction Newp
Not my series, but looked too nice to pass. Its graded 62 but looks better, but IMO net graded due to the incredibly weak lower reverse. Any series experts, feel free to chime in. Just a widget for me that I might turn into a short type set at some point. I should have it in hand next week.

Love it. Good luck if you decide to build out a set.
I have a number of sets I'm working on that got started from one serendipitous piece.
@TomB is the expert on this type. Maybe he'll post his opinion?

Looks nice. I like the color and smooth surfaces.

I absolutely love it!
.....btw, it’s coins like this that got me into putting together a type set rather than series.
I upgrade it if need be or if something comes along even better

It has to be the strike for it to only be a 62. Lovely color on that coin. I didn't realize Legend used Trueviews for their auction images.
Nice. Might just be the pic/angle but what is that interesting something on the 3?
Very nice pick up!

It's a bit subdued surface wise which is most like why it's a 62.
Very nice, congratulations !!!
A gorgeous Sheila!
Nice pick up Dustin I like it. Hey you move to the next town over from me and we haven't had lunch yet?
Congrats. I was an under-bidder. Fabulous coin. Didn't work for the budget right now or I might have pushed it higher.
The strike on Unc. Reeded Edge Halves is usually hammered. Agree w Wabbit on this.

I kept looking at the coin. I have seen far worse in far higher grades.
In hand the coin is really gorgeous.
Not my series, either. But I sure wouldn’t kick it out of my collection!
I saw that one and thought from the image, it looked very nice for the grade. Would love to see a Todd/BluCC photo of it. Congratulations.

Simply Lovely
Congrats
Are you suggesting it is a crackout/regrade candidate?
Congrats!
Nice coin... likely the weakness on the reverse that kept it at 62... Cheers, RickO
That was on my watch list as well. The strike is definitely what keeps it in that holder IMO which makes it a nice coin to buy for the price if you're like me and value eye appeal and luster over strike. Make sure to update when you get it in hand I'll be curious as it was one I almost battled for.
I watched that one, but ended up with an 1810 half cent instead. I'll bet you will really like that coin!

Shout out to Legend for the awesome coin delivered within 1 day. Laura's description was dead on.
See in hand pics: (Sorry, quickly took them in my office)
@Proofmorgan those pictures are awesome. What a beautiful coin. You really did well. When I bought my 37 S from Legend they shipped it lightning quick. They are remarkable.

Nice pickup!
my heart skipped a beat. Pretty!
What a neat purchase! Looks even better in hand.
@specialist and the team always have great looking
coins in their auctions.
Your first obverse free hand photo looks better than the auction image.
Congratulations
