I hope I'm not breaking any norms by posting a 2nd pic for today.Something else I collect (and from time to time attempt to use). Two Gibson Les Pauls, one a 1985 made 1959 re-issue and the other a 2012 12 string.....made just the one year.

Here are a few I took from this year's filmed Hollywood Christmas Parade. This year movie cars are featured if that is among your interests. (The parade will be airing on The CW Network Friday, December 14, 8PM/7PM CT) and showing again on the Armed Forces Network on Christmas Day at Noon. Hallmark usually broadcasts it as well but date and times not announced yet.)

Two items from my little mineral collection. One is a small but vibrant piece of pink tourmaline I found from a heap of tailings from a mine in Pala, CA.
The other is more man-made. A green, glassy piece of trinitite. The desert glass created from the Trinity bomb test. I obtained it (legally) from a Phd candidate in New Mexico.

No idea what kind of rock but just liked the way it looked.
I'm guessing it's some kind of sedimentary rock such as sandstone. Very cool.

The family Truckster, way to go Clark!
Found this rock in a mining place in western NC. The item on the right is what the rock turned into.
Really beautiful bark colors. In Connecticut we have American Sycamore Trees that have a modeled bark feature (not as colorful) that is unique.
Great pictures!!!
