Which of your rare coins would be rejected by the Coinstar machine?

  Half dimes are too tiny. They'd be in the reject slot with the Canadian Beavers.

  Commemorative half dollars would be rejected... Having just read the thread about the Hawaiian commem, I would love to find one of those in the reject slot... Cheers, RickO

  The Twenty Cent Piece and the silver Three Cent Pieces won't work.

  My local club's account is with a bank that uses a currency counting machine. Coin collectors, being what they are, sometimes pay with two dollar bills. I've learned to put those on the top of the pile when I deposit currency. That machine is not set up to recognize them.

  Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
