Some New Pickups

PhilLynottPhilLynott Posts: 900 ✭✭✭✭✭

Just thought I'd share some recent pickups, always like when others do the same. Especially loving the 1838 1C, it has great luster and color and I've been looking for a Coronet Head for the type set for quite some time.

Really nice group and a pleasure to view. thanks for posting them. I also appreciate that mint red in the recesses of the large cent, kind of makes the coin look like it's lit from within.

I like them all but the Standing Liberty is my fav ...... FH and the distinct texture on her top vest means minimal rubs IMHO <3

The SLQ really caught my eye too. I can’t pretend to know the first thing about grading them but it sure seems real nice for a 66 I think maybe a victim of the recent tightening. I’ve only owned two of these (again far from an expert lol) but this was a clear cut upgrade for my old 66+ Like nicer in every way possible. It has great eye appeal, strike, luster all there and barely a mark on either side. I don’t play the crack out game normally but may make an exception for this one sometime
