Just spotted these.....maybe a new offering out of China. Note the same bump above the t in trust.
Sorry for the lousy pics but using Paint and have no clue how to do so.....One is an 85-O and the other an 89-O

Yes, seller from Germany. Here's a link to the ebay sale (see other items from same seller). I've contacted him and he says they weigh right and measure right. Suggested he do a specific gravity on them and gave him a "how to" link for such a test.

He has a lot of those Morgans for sale; they all look the same. I have a feeling they aren't the only fakes he's selling.

Yes it’s the usual drill. The pictures are taken at an angle, and on these pieces, there are hints of the usual Chinese fake “shoe polish” style toning. It’s a shame that the Chinese are aided by sellers on eBay and elsewhere which keeps them in the business of making this crap.

Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
