    Man, those are beautiful!
I often wonder how coins that are nearly 2000 years old can be so well preserved. I like to think that generations of collectors took care of them from their beginnings
Though, it is more likely that they sat undisturbed in a secure location for centuries

    AWESOME SET!!

Thanks for sharing it! Is the 1/32 ducat actually encapsulated? I believe that coin has the single smallest diameter of any struck coin!

I don't think I've ever viewed a collection here with so much emphasis on showcasing the minter's art.

Coins and medals shown here are all outstanding examples of the minter's art over many centuries, displayed with exceptionally crisp, colorful images.

Question: What is the actual size (diameter) of the German States Regensburg circa 1750 1/32 Ducat PCGS MS67?

I have a so-called "Panama pill" that I would like to get into PCGS slab.

The Panama pill (1904, 2-1/2 centesimos) is the smallest silver coin ever made by a U.S. Mint at 10 millimeters diameter but i don't know if it can be slabbed because it is so tiny.

I especially like the Chile 1933-So Peso PCGS MS67+. :)

Thank you! The Chilean piece is made of copper-nickel, which makes it even more impressive (it's difficult for copper-nickel to tone nicely).

The 1/32 ducat is about 5mm in diameter, so the Pill shouldn't be a problem to holder.

I had it reholdered at some point and they put it in the new holder off-center, but here it is:

A Collectors Showcase would be nice, but then I wouldn't be able to include the NGC coins (and is the diameter adjustable in the albums? Because the diameter of these probably wouldn't be recorded in the PCGS system)

Rexford, my Panama pill at 10 mm diameter would appear gigantic next to your 1/32 Ducat.

I compliment your very nice 1938-D/D Indian Nickel PCGS MS65, too. That one would be a real nice complement to my nickel collection which has an NGC 1938-D/S FS-513 in 65+.

Great Britain 1937 "Frosted V.I.P" Crown (only example known), PCGS PR66DCAM

    Two new additions:

    German 1913 Copper Pattern 3 Mark Schaaf-52G1, PCGS SP66RB

French 1795 silver Freemasonry Medal, PCGS AU58, for the Masonic Lodge of Perfect Equality in Rouen. A Masonic lodge is the basic organizational unit of Freemasonry, commonly used as a term for a building in which Freemasons meet, or for the group itself that is meeting. Freemasons gather together as or at a lodge to work as the three basic "Degrees" of Freemasonry: Apprentice, Journeyman, and Master Mason.

Obverse: Two skeletons, the one at right crowned and with a scepter in hand, the one at left holding a level and a shepherd's staff, each standing at one side of a central altar topped with an open book; above, an illuminated delta inscribed with the Hebrew name of God; on either side, columns engraved with the letters "B" and "J", for Boaz and Jachin, the pillars on the porch of Solomon's Temple. Columns representing Boaz and Jachin can be found in most Masonic Lodges, and are emblematic of their use in Masonic rituals as a representation of Solomon's Temple.

Reverse: The Square and Compasses logo with G (usually for Geometry) in blazing central pentagram, acacia branches intertwining throughout, star below / LOGE DE LA PARFAITE ÉGALITÉ O∴ DE ROUEN.

    Couple of new Spanish purchases:

1824 Maravedi, NGC MS69RB. Xuvia Mint. This was a one-year type, and the only of the denomination struck under Ferdinand VII, and though it is a fairly common type, it certainly isn't in this grade. To my knowledge, this is the oldest coin with an NGC grade of 69.

1905 Medal, PCGS SP66 Matte. By Bartolome Maura, Madrid. 50mm. The obverse features a half-length bust of a traditional armored knight with a lance in hand and the text CENTENARIO DE LA APARICION DEL QUIJOTE. The reverse features a view of the Palacio de los Duques de Villahermosa in Pedrola, Spain, and the text POR CERVANTES Y ARAGON LA DUQUESA DE VILLAHERMOSA. Struck to commemorate the third centenary of the publication of Miguel de Cervantes's "Don Quijote", sponsored by the Duchess of Villahermosa. Vives-620.
