Post a coin from 1925
My grandpa passed away peacefully this morning at the age of 92 surrounded by his family. He was a great father, grandfather, and an all around good guy. Post a coin from 1925 to remember him.

What did he do for a living? Serve in the military? Share a little bit more about him.
Sounds as though he had a rich, full life. My condolences.

Sorry for the loss of your grandfather. Mine was my father figure and barely lived to see 60. Be thankful for the many good years and memories.

I'm sorry for your loss. My grandfather introduced me to coin collecting when I was a kid and I think of him every time I add a coin to my collection.
Technically not a coin but the only 1925 issue I have

Sorry for your loss!

It is interesting to note that the Denver Mint was the only facility to strike quarters in 1925, after peroid from 1916 to 1924 when none were issued at all. This would be the last quarter eagle struck by the Denver Mint. It is a one of the most common dates in the series, although some are better struck than others. NGC graded this one MS-66.
Sorry to hear of your family's loss, cherish the memories
