Walking liberty halves were my primary focus for many years.
When I joined the forum in 2007, many variations of 'walker' and 'walking liberty' were
already in use, so I had to keep trying different versions until something was permitted,
and the favorite coin in my set at the time was my 21D, so this worked out fine.

I’m a Harry Potter super nerd. On any sort of fandom site it would be impossible to get a main character name like Sirius Black because they were chosen years ago. Now you’d have to add a bunch of numbers and symbols like S!riusBl@ck84.
Low and behold, I discovered that while you are all a bunch of coin nerds, you are not in fact the Harry Potter variety. 😂
How big of a nerd am I? Well the first novel’s story begins on November 1st. So yes I’ll start today rereading them all.

Mine is fairly obvious, name and last initial.....Many years ago, in my career, people started calling me that at work.... then, with the advent of email (90's), I started signing my email with RickO....so it became a permanent moniker. Cheers, RickO
DANG! I always thought Rick was your MIDDLE name and "Cheers" was your first name.
I wrote the website with the same name, then federally registered it as a trademark and service mark some years later. People have known me as "coppercoins" for 20 years now.

YOU say it and get 3 LOLs. I say it 3 posts earlier and get ONE!!
Doubleeagle59 has a multitude of personal meanings.
Most obvious is I'm a gold bug so doubleeagle is obvious.
My true passion in life is golf and I have been very fortunate to get a few double eagles in my lifetime (a 2 on a par 5 and a hole in one on a par 4, both are considered double eagles)
'59' too has a dual meaning.
In golf, shooting a 59 is the holy grail and I have never come close to that mark, even though once on the front nine of my home course I shot a 29, but I got ahead of myself on the back nine and shot a 36.
The other meaning for '59' is my birth year - 1959.
"Gold is money, and nothing else" (JP Morgan, 1912)
"“Those who sacrifice liberty for security/safety deserve neither.“(Benjamin Franklin)
My handle is a combination of 2 things. I bought my 1994 Harley brand new in 1993 and was able to get a personalized plate BSSHOG two months later. I have them to this date still on the same bike. The 40 was how old I was when I got my first Hotmail account. Lol That was 19 yrs ago. It was bsshog40 which no longer exists. Lol
Mine came from the old Bass Master magazines from the fictional Harry and Charlie fishing stories in each issue. There was a character named Elmer Fusterpuck. For some reason, that name got stuck in my brain, and I started using it in my 80's online college life. 30+ years later I still use it and it's more fun to say after you've slammed down a few.
I basically used my Ebay name when I started here. I have been called Batman by some, which is more PC than what others call me. Of course Batman was already taken when I signed up so I had to add a couple numbers until something stuck.

Mine is from Seinfeld. It is something George says to Jerry when they are coming up with ideas for Jerry's sitcom.
He says it to Russell in their meeting. Great reference!
I love Seinfeld. I do not remember that. I seem to remember him saying it to Jerry in the coffee shop.
I'll have to rewatch it.
You are right about the coffee shop. He says “This should be the show. This is the show.” He also says it to Russell later in the same episode. “This is the show. And we’re not gonna change it.”
Name of my fishing boat. A lot of things went wrong/needed repair to get it in turnkey shape. You know what they say about boats though. As I discovered new things that needed repair, and I was already into it for X amount, I started rationalizing the repairs as "why not" might as well fix this too. Someday I'd like to get the name on it.
Just a thing we use to do back in the '60's and '70's.
John was Johnbo and Greg was therefore Gregbo and so on and so forth, for some reason Raybo just stuck.

I am trying to complete an everyman's US Type collection. I figured the name fit with it
A few times I've even chased and caught the other variety. Widowed once, divorced once, and since remarried.
And as my sig line says. " Just because I'm old doesn't mean I don't love to look at a pretty bust."
My thought exactly! That's why I use my last name "divecchia" and my first name is at the bottom of every post.
If everyone were made to do that maybe there would be a lot less problems with Trolls hiding behind the keyboard and starting crap.

I was going to go with Pricilla-Ruth-Anne but it isn't me, so I went with something simpler.

Once corresponded online with another collector specializing in Buffalo nickels who used it as a sign-off. Liked it so I decided to adopt it here.
