The company I work for is called Hallco. I thought by having it as a user name it would provide stealthy cover so the IT department would not find out that I go into hobby forums while sometimes still being at my office!!
Pretty self-explanatory. I'm fanatical about Barber coins. Was addicted to the halves for about 15 years... now quarters are my thing.
My current coin collecting interests are: (1) British coins 1838-1970 in XF-AU-UNC, (2) silver type coins in XF-AU with that classic medium gray coloration and exceptional eye appeal.

I absolutely love the 3 Stooges. I used to have a picture of Moe as my avatar, but someone else was using it, so I switched to my Schnauzer Toby.

Some refer to overgraded slabs as Coffins. I like to think of them as Happy Coins.

Mine shouldn't take much imagination to figure out. And for the record, I had to reach over a stack of coins in flips to type this, and proceeded to knock the stack over.
At least you didn't knock a stella in the trash can like another forum member...
Fairly easy to figure out. I collect Confederate States of America notes/currency-csanotes. I collect plenty of other stuff, but started with Confederate currency in my early teens.
I collect submachine guns also.
If you want to hit something, you just turn it on and "walk it over" to the target.
Much easier than using the sights when you've been drinking.
Circumstances had me break open a coin collection started for me by my Aunt over 50 years ago. These books have not seen the light of day in over 40 years. The Mercury Dimes are a magnificent array of colors (toned), which made me think of the song by Merle Haggard - Rainbow Stew!
I went through a divorce (at the turn of the century) . Got full custody of two girls. Then, after a 25 year haitus from coins, I went on eBay one night .... I needed to have an eBay handle. And my kids had their points and I had mine.
Since that time , many have educated me that there are more than two sides ....duh. No kidding.
So if you ever hear me say ..." you're a real coin", you might have put me on edge.
Mine is fairly obvious, name and last initial.....Many years ago, in my career, people started calling me that at work.... then, with the advent of email (90's), I started signing my email with RickO....so it became a permanent moniker. Cheers, RickO
TurboSperm was my first handle back in AOL when the pw was only 4 digit long. Got flagged way too many time on the message boards due to the name. So I grew up a little and evolved to a Snail.
Started using it in the last millennium when the net was just getting started. I used to play basketball in an “old men’s 3 step” rec league and was 37 when I started using it. I was a hack and when the body started to fall apart, and the kid started beating me (his pic in the avatar), I hung it up. But the handle stayed.
I’m a Harry Potter super nerd. On any sort of fandom site it would be impossible to get a main character name like Sirius Black because they were chosen years ago. Now you’d have to add a bunch of numbers and symbols like S!riusBl@ck84.
Low and behold, I discovered that while you are all a bunch of coin nerds, you are not in fact the Harry Potter variety. 😂
How big of a nerd am I? Well the first novel’s story begins on November 1st. So yes I’ll start today rereading them all.
