We needed a little excitement! That's awesome Fade! Vam 3C maybe? If so, that's an R6. Not super rare, but in a high grade it might bring some added interest if you are planning to sell. I really like it!

Please dip before slabbing. Looks like a solid 65, perhaps even a +. Congrats!
I really miss the "disagree" button. It's in a GSA HOLDER! You would be a massive fool to crack it open to dip it. Thankfully, I know @FadeToBlack would never do that.
Sweet coin by the way! I love coming across those gems in the rough in the GSA holders. I have not come across one in a long time around here.

I'm 90% sure Blitz is a troll account. I have him blocked.
I need to add him to my ignore list as well. His commenting about cracking and dipping on every toned coin thread is beyond ridiculous.
That reverse is fantastic.... Nice die clash... I do not care for the mottled tarnish, but overall a nice detailed strike. Should be a 66...Cheers, RickO
Like it very much, but too much friction at base of neck and cap as well as jaw for above 66. I'll vote 66 even though I would expect a grade of 65 if it was mine.

Nice pickup, I'm not a morgan expert at all but I just don't see the luster needed for a 66 much less a 67. What am I missing?
I dont think it has the luster for a 7 but I do think it's a 6. Technically clean as hell. They tend to be slightly forgiving on GSAs, as they're 100% assured to be as-made (with the effects of 90 years of bag storage) and not dipped or anything.
The holder on this one is also beat up a bit. I gave it a basic polishing before these images but it definitely needs another go around.
agreed, it looks 66 period. truly don't see it making 67.

I don't know how they grade these now. I have an 84 CC in PC 6 that was in a GSA holder that was cracked out 20 years ago to get it in a PC holder.
The coin has a clean cheek, superior eye appeal, and a swath of cobalt toning on the reverse. Most of the GSA CC Unc Morgans I have seen have muted luster. The 84 CC I have is much better than that (which is why I kept it).

@FadeToBlack That dollar is prettier than Miss Elizabeth brother!
Sweet! 66+ shot at 67.
Not crazy about the color of this GSA buck but it sure is clean, at least from the images.
Nice coin but................NOT!

Very nice! The coin, that is.
The more qualities observed in a coin, the more desirable that coin becomes!
My Jefferson Nickel Collection
what coin?
I love Morgan CC's but I like mine blast white. Probably a 65 or even 65+
Don't worry they have dropped like a rock and are closer to 5k now in the GSA holder. Looks pretty dang clean.

Awesome pick up!

I forgot yours was an 1882. Those are better in 67, but they were $15-20k 2 years ago. 9k would have been a steal on that a couple years back.
Nice clash

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
Not a fan of the toning that seems to have muted the luster but technically the grade seems nice due to the lack of hits. Nice pick-up
Good luck!

That is super-clean and I love the original look. I would guess 66+ on the grade. Nice!
Most of these GSA dollars do not have much luster anyway.
