This the British anti-slavery half penny size piece that Josiah Westwood isued circa 1795. It is interesting to note that the piece has edge lettering that reads, "This is not a coin but a medal." This piece was the model for the 1838 anti-slavery Hard Times Token that the American Anti-slavery Society issued.
I was concerned about the spot above "AM" in "MAN" on the obverse. It looks like a possible flie mark, but there is an edge cud directly opposite that spot on the reverse. I think that it is a matter of an odd metal flow that caused that. The planchet is only about 2 mm thick.
Here is the American token.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
@BryceM I saw your half cent, it’s really cool, it reminds me that I am thinking of getting myself a draped bust half cent, possibly the 1804 spiked chin variety. Any advice 👍
I know, you are going to say they price guide is $7, I overpaid for it. But there were only 26 1961 proof nickels ever made in the rattler era. This has been a hole in my set that I never thought I'd fill.
No coins lately..... just nothing that caught my interest.... @Sportscards1086.... Are you sure that Kennedy is an AH?? It does not show in the picture...actually, what I can see, it is not an AH.... Maybe a better picture will help. Cheers, RickO

Can't see Rickenbacker without thinking about Geddy!
Is that a 6 string Bass or does Rickenbacker make non-Bass guitars as well?
It's a short-scale guitar - the same basic model that John Lennon used during the Beatles early years.
Rickenbacker started out making guitars in the 1930s on our host's home turf: Santa Ana, CA. They started out manufacturing both lap steels and early spanish-style (the sort we're used to today) electrics, making some of the very first solid body electric guitars out of bakelite.
In 1955 or 1956, they began making modern electric guitars, although most of their most popular designs originated in the 1960s, when their instruments became very popular with the British Invasion.
They started making electric basses in 1957, debuting the 4001 that everyone is familiar with in 1960 or 1961 - this is the bass used by McCartney, Geddy Lee, Chris Squire of Yes, Mike Mills of REM, and on and on.
The pictured guitar is a 1959 reissue - I've personally found the originals aren't exactly as functional, so where I ordinarily don't buy electric guitars made after 1964 or so, I make an exception when I find modern Rickenbackers on the cheap...

My first Morgan!
Also added a Kennedy. Heavily accented hair?
Not sure why they didn't label the Morgan as PL?
Just the usual US mint releases.

Sorry, not an Accented Hair variety. The I in LIBERTY needs to be truncated on the bottom left side. Yours is not.
