This was a Collector Club submission.

Dropped my shipment off at the Post Office in Seattle on 10/2

Grades posted online on 10/11

Shipped 10/12

Mailman delivers 10/15

I knew the 1898-S was lightly wiped, but thought it might sneak by. I've seen worse in PCGS plastic. Nope, not this time. Oh well, great service anyway. Thanks PCGS!

Congrats on the turn-around time. There seems to be a commonality with these "good news" threads. It may be a good time to submit a few varieties for attribution.

I just had the fastest turnaround time ever. It was a 3 coin Economy, non Gold Shield. It was logged in 10/10 and received the results yesterday 10/12. Only 2 days.

    Thanks PCGS!!

I think this is faster than some Express submissions.

I recently had the same experience, no sense for a company to sit on submissions even if they are faster than projected turn around times.

It seems things have been improved regarding turn around times... It was only about six weeks ago, many threads were posted bemoaning the issue.... Looks like the issue has been addressed.... Cheers, RickO

Errors probably take longer to get graded...

Indeed. 48 out right now. 4 of which are errors on varieties which add even more time and expense.

    How was the grading?

I thought they were very good. Two were NGC crackouts and one was raw. The raw 1940-D Lincoln graded MS66RB. A 1915-S Lincoln, which I thought was under graded, graded MS64BN and a 1938-D Mercury upgraded from the NGC MS65FB to MS66FB.

That's some real good spot on grading by PCGS IMHOP with fast return time.

All those coins are worthy of the slabs they're in.

I sent two CC Trade dollars in to PCGS and was pleasantly surprised at how fast I got them back. Can't say enough good about their service; it's great.

    They are tight :o

All graded so the questionable one from NGC got Fred's approval :)

They do not post the error descriptions, only the grades.

    MS 62 ...... IMO MS64
    MS 64RD ....... I agree
MS 66 ...... Should Be MS 68 but a 66 major error coin is still a great score
    MS 62 ..... I agree

Ok. You all got me to finally send in another two groups. I have historically had close to double turn around times, I will excited to see Pics before Thanksgiving.
One is five reholders with variety attribution and true view glamour shots, and one CAC green bean from keets.
I should make some nice advances in the various Jefferson Variety sets.

The other is a batch of 10 raw proofs and 3 MS varieties with true view glamour shots. Priority shipped them out today... we will see mostly doubles or triple extras but nice varieties

    Update.
    Shipped priority 10-17
    Received and prepped 10-19
Reholder attributions passed and updated. Some true views 10-26

Ten days later and my attributions all made it, with certifications updated already. Great job Pcgs

I am encouraged turnarounds can be faster on economy submissions than estimates... I have never experienced this phenomenon.

I left 22 coins at my dealer's on the 27th of Dec. He shipped on the 28th or 29th. I got my coins back on the 25th of January with the exception of the 4 varieties which came in today. I was pleased with the turnaround, it was about what I expected.
The grades were 16/17 of my dealer's calls. My wife and I averaged 14/17 which I thought was good for amateurs. A 1885 PR Indian didn't holder because of lamination. I haven't gotten the cert's for the 4 with attributes yet. 1 09vdb fs1101 2 09vdb fs1102 and a 43-s ddo. The only one that we all (and another CU member) thought was undergraded was this one. Without looking it up, could I get some opinions on grade please?

@Edthelorax ....Did it get a 64? I could see it as a 65 but the spot just off the chin wig maybe holds it back?

It came back at MS63BN I'm not sure if the increase in price is worth re-submitting. We all thought it should be a 64. I have seen many Trueviews of 65 coins with worse spots than the one on the field in front of the chin.
