Blueberry Roosevelt?

As a side diversion I have an album of toned Roosevelt that I add to when it can be done so on the cheap. Most times it works out. The sellers images suggested at some blue toning. Got it in hand, and well, wasn't really expecting something this "intense". Question to the group is whether these pieces can get this colored naturally, and more specifically, the chances this piece could have gotten so blue/purple on its own.

I have a Mercury dime in 66 in an old-style small ANA slab wth very similar looking toning.
I have some Roosevelt dimes with similar color that were in double mint sets.
Looks natural...
100% AT. I'd bet your grading fee on it.
Check out my iPhone app SlabReader!
There are definitely blueberry Roosies (paging @erwindoc!) but this one looks questionable to me.
1960 is an odd date for that type of color. The double mint set Roosies have been known to turn electric blue...

Natural. Cool Roosy.

I suppose if you breathe on it enough with a severe case of halitosis you may get those kinds of colors on a Roosie. Looks kinda fishy to me though.
Later, Paul.
That one is a bit purple. Here are a few of mine that are graded....
I had one that looks very similar to the OP's coin and I took it straight out of a mint set package.
It graded at PCGS......... As AU55. Probably my most ridiculous PCGS experience.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
Interesting '60-D. I'm neutral on color. Haven't seen enough to give you a certainty. Here is a blue from a double mint set that I own- this is just one sided. Love the blue...
Glad there was a strong consensus, LOL. With a winning bid of $1.50 I'm not going to sweat it too much. I've put it into the album, although it does stand out a bit. I would say in hand its not all that dissimilar to the 47-D that erwindoc posted. Not nearly as eye appealing given my pieces "spotchiness" and uneven toning on the obverse, but the reverse isn't really that far off in terms of color.

Looks artificial to me.
Looks like they rinsed the egg off it at least. AT....just dip and add to your 90% bullion roll.
The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.

Wooooha! Did someone just say it's officially "TACO™" Tuesday????
I have not seen a 1960 toned like that.
1956, many of them, but not 1960.
