Yes, very bad. It's up to Cat 4, and the storm surge is going to be as high as 12 feet. I’m located a few hundred miles to the southeast of it, so all we will get is thunder storms and some win

It is heading right towards us here. The snakes are seeking shelter. Just killed a 2.5 ft Copperhead in my garage. Lots of reasons to be careful.
Edit to add I would have relocated a non venemous snake.
Please do not board up your house and leave the animals inside.
PLEASE take them with you.
Prayers out to all of you in the path....please be careful. No storm chasing...okay?
The snakes are also looking for shelter .No reason to kill them.
Only the poison ones. Sorry no poison snakes allowed in my garage. In the yard I leave them alone.

Huge relief efforts in the US again; I hope that those affected get all they need to recover.

God bless those that were in the path of this unprecedented monster. Blown away that it was still a cat 3 with a defined eye while in Georgia. A beast for the record books for sure.
