I GOT MY FIRST 19TH CENTURY PROOF U.S COIN!!!!!!😂😂😂, Anyone also have cool PR 19th century nickels?
I just ordered my first 19th century proof coin, A PCGS PR 64 1883 no cents V nickel !!!! It comes in the mail next week !!!!!!

One of the most common of all Liberty Nickels in AU and lower end Mint State, yet one of the scarcer pieces in Proof because it is a partial year type.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. @BillJones , is a partial year type a coin only produced for less then a year such as the 1909 VDB, the no cents V nickel, and the 1883 shield nickle ?

If you are a type collector who is filling the slots with Proof coins, the 1883 No Cents Nickel is actually when of tougher types. If you are doing it with Mint State coins, it’s one of the easy ones.

I like it, I've been looking for that exact kinda (date and PROOF) coin to add to my certified type set.
Shouldn't be difficult, but everytime I start looking for things they seem to dry up.Nice coin.

Proof shield nickels are vary cool, they were one of my choices for a proof coin I wanted to buy, I chose the PR 64 1883 v nickel because it was selling for only $325 so I got a really good deal 👍
