Once I saw a Pheasant in the Metro Detroit Ghetto of Highland Park. That about flipped me out , this wasn't a big old Wheat field in Iowa, it was a Weeded over vacant lot near a Meth Clinic with Drug Dealers all over the place. Oh and big Turkeys are always struting out in the Street in them parts. A person knows to give them a wide berth because some of them carry Guns.

    😨

Where I live, people try to ban hunting and trapping....................and then complain about the deer, turkeys, rattlesnakes etc.

No photos of turkeys or coins with turkeys. I do see rabbits though when I'm walking home from work each night around 1:00AM or so.

All the turkeys I see come from my grocery store. We do have wild turkeys in NV but I have NEVER seen even one. Supposedly we have two varieties here. No turkey coin or coin from Turkey.

Turkeys are not so abundant this year. Hunters and all, you know. These hunters were caught on cam last couple of weeks. The bear last year. Now we have two.

This Civil War token is considered to be a "copperhead," pro southern piece. The message is that the South should be left alone. It was a popular opinion among some New York City businessmen who wanted to continue to do business with the South during the Civil War. It is a common token.

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

We have flocks of wild turkey here.... and when I grew up in this area, there was not a single wild turkey.....Left the area for almost fifty years, and now they are all over the place. Also, coyotes....nary a one years ago. Likely the abundance of turkeys brought coyotes.... I have no turkey coins. Cheers, RickO
